The 2025 Spirit of the Season event was one of the best events we've ever participated in. With early and detailed communications with vendors, heavy marketing and social media presence, easy load-in/out and extremely busy customer volumes throughout the entire event, this was a great example of how markets should be planned and run! The organizers and volunteer team did a phenomenal job of checking in with vendors frequently, offering to booth-sit when needed, ensuring that you had everything you needed to succeed. The vibe among vendors was great as well; everyone was highly successful (and very tired by the end!). Would highly recommend this market, and we intend to return next year!

Spirit of the Season 2025 was my first time doing the indoor market as a vendor and it exceeded my expectations in every way. I had hoped for goods sales and a fun experience but was blown away by how well everything was organised. The two weekends were a joy to participate in.

This is my second year participating as a vendor at this event. I cannot emphasize adequately how well-structured and supportive this committee and its volunteers are (Alex, you were amazing!). The promotion and marketing of this event was outstanding, as we encountered individuals from Niagara Falls, Brampton, and London. All I can say is Well Done! Last two years the Spirit of the Season has been an excellent market for my small business. Sales, foot traffic and experience is well worth it. I highly recommend this market to other small businesses in the community.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Spirit of the Season event in downtown Guelph was absolutely fantastic! As an outdoor vendor, The Scented Market had such a great experience. The energy was festive, the event was well organized, and the turnout was incredible. Cozy candle season has officially begun, and we loved seeing so many people add our scented soy candles to their homes for the holidays. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with new customers and be part of such a joyful community event. We can’t wait to return!

In the many markets that I’ve done, & I’ve done many, Spirit of the Season was one of the best! So well organized, perfect amount of communication leading up & during. The social media that was done during weekend one and leading into weekend two definitely gave an extra push in awareness. I’m always blown away with the amount of support the community of Guelph has for small businesses and Spirit of the Season truly showed that. I’m already brain storming for next year and looking forward to coming back.

I had an absolute blast both weekends at the Spirit of the Season festival. So well organized and executed from the marketing, evening events, food trucks, influencers, etc. The spirits of the festival goers kept me warm and engaged all weekend long.
